The Republic of Tea announced new limited-edition Downton Abbey Movie Teas – In contemplation of the upcoming movie “Downton Abbey,” which are available for purchase beginning Aug. 1. The flavors are invigorated by the award-winning TV sequence’ characters, bringing to life the drama, relationships and entertaining personalities of the Crawley household, the company says.
- Lord and Lady Grantham’s Tea – the combination of traditional black tea and wealthy, fragrant spices, giving off sweet cinnamon and clove aromas;
- Violet and Mary’s Tea – the blend of ginger, orange bergamot, mint and lemon thyme;
- The Bates’ Tea – the combination of traditional flavors of plum pudding (baked fruit and spices) with pleasant flavors of vanilla in a black tea base.
The new tea tins are available through the company’s web site, republicoftea.com, and have a driven retail worth of $12.50 for every tin.
